I am often asked, do you prefer Mike or Michael.  I respond that I really don't care what they call me as long as they call!  This is a bit of humor that usually gets a chuckle and it reminds me of how I feel with every phone call I get from Active Rain blog posts.  The calls used to be once a month, then once a week and now I am up to a few times per week!  What is funny is that the reason I get the calls are so varied.  Yesterday I was called to see if I was a contractor for the FHA 203k renovation loan.  I mentioned I was a loan officer that originates FHA 203k loans but that I wasn't a contractor.  I just love the calls and I hope they keep on coming due to my membership on Active Rain and my blogging!

Thanks for your post. We'll take any call that may lead to more business. 203(k) is a great loan product for the many REO properties that need renovation.

Getting a few calls a week is amazing. I've only gotten one call, which turned into a listing because they had seen me on another forum, and on AR.

I actually do prefer Michael but that seems formal to me and I am anything but!
