Furniture and Houseware Donations Needed for Twin Palms Center For The Disabled

-Hello out there Real Estate World!  I have missed you all!  I haven't been on Active Rain in so long!

A lot has changed.  Last month, I got my real estate license for the state of Florida! Wooohoooo!  I can't wait to place it somewhere!

Currently, I am looking for furniture and houseware donations, they must be in excellent condition.  I recently opened a store with my fiance John Skeffington, called "SKEFFINGTON'S FURNITURE & MATTRESS", (  The store has new furniture, mattresses, overstock items, consignment and thrift.

With our thrift and donations, John & my goal is to help grant wishes and fulfill the dreams of adults with developmental disabilities. Our plan is to provide the funds to send the adults at Twin Palm Center For The Disabled on recreational trips, as often as possible!  These trips will enrich the human experience through the spirit of mentorship and will create positive feelings, hope, pride as well as creating memories to last for many years!

Our first trip, will be to Lion Country Safari, next trip to Disney!

What can you donate?

Skeffington's Furniture & Mattress, and our Thrift business, Open Hands & Open Hearts is dedicated to providing excellent value in Furnitue, Mattress & Home Goods, while also dedicated to Helping Adults with Developmental Disabilites within our community!

Future plans to include a vocational program inour store partnering with Twin Palms Center For The Disabled. ( , to learn more about their program)

If you want to donate, and you would like us to pick up, we will.

Thanks so much!
